This 1960s Ludwig Fab kit in Black Oyster Pearl has been restored and pulled back from the brink. Built with the infamous 3 ply mahogany/poplar/mahogany shells, it delivers that warm, open, unmistakably vintage Ludwig sound that made these kits legendary in the first place.
It is not a pristine museum piece and that is exactly the point. Think rat-rod, not showroom. Some sections of the kick wrap have been glued down, there are visible signs of age throughout, and it wears every one of its years proudly.
For functionality and reliability, some parts have been replaced over time so the kit can be properly played and enjoyed. Importantly, all original parts are included in the sale, so nothing has been lost to history.
